Hi,
anyone on board who has already installed a MP 3 player on a first generation bike ? If yes, was it easy to install ? If not, can anyone suggest me a specific brand or model that will fit my scooter ?

I have a mini disc connected to the sound system with a cassette adapter as Falko has said,I use a small bit of velcro on the mini disc & put it on top of the dash, works great, hope this helps Winghunter.

Hi Noel and Falko,
thanks for your suggestions.
I am still thinking about using a MD ( have a small one at home) or instead using a MD player using a MP 3 player. But a new MP 3 player costs money and that added invest will definitely steal some added lamps or chrome on my scooter ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Some months ago I buy a FM adaptator called IROCK. Just have to plug this adaptator to my MP3 players (works with batteries or lighter adapater) and put it in your pocket or trunk. After that put your FM radio on one of the 4 proposed fequencies and you have your favorite songs via your radio without any other cables. Costs : 19.90 euros......

Hey Doc,I have looked on ebay.co.uk for these transmitters,it only shows 5 from the USA,what are you typing in & what ebay site are you using.I typed FM Transmitters with no luck.
I could'nt find them directly on ebay,I had to go on a yahoo search & found a link to ebay & there are loads of them as you said, starting at £3.50,very cheap, which one do I pick. Any ideas Doc.

I have just puchased an ipod shuffle with 1GB,it holds 240 songs,I bought an FM transmitter that plugs into the ipod & powered by the ipod,it's only an inch in size. The ipod is compatible with iTunes, buy albums & songs from iTunes & download them straight into the ipod,I will stick a bit of velcro on my dash & also on the ipod.I paid £80 for ipod on ebay, the ipod is the same size as a packet of gum.I hope this gives you an idea Rudy.

Hopefully it will arrive by next weekend,I'll give it a good test around different Counties here.As you say,it could be the straw that breaks the camels back traveling abroad. This transmitter, once plugged into ipod, shows me on the lcd what frequency I should be on,once the radio is locked on that frequency,it should'nt move, should it?I'm only guessing here,I'll let you know on the first test, could be an ipod up for sale... ;D ;D
