last weekend i did a test i rode from work to home on friday afternoon + some miles on saturday alltogether 170 miles - thats 272 km and not empty.. ! ;D i filled the tank with 19,46 l !!! thats around 7,14 l / 100km as i know the first gen. has a 20 l tank ! how much have you ever filled in ? ( the most ) and how much miles did you get with one fillup...? ((( today the engine stopped - with 174,6 miles on the odometer ! so there is a small rest in the tank you cant use it seems... or i went faster this time... ;-)) )))

The RSV has 23 liters of fuel capacity.
I usually fill only 18 or 19 and run about 250 or 270 km driving in both city and open road (mostly at 140 km/h).
The only test that I did once to check how far I could go, I filled the tank with 22 liters and I was able to drive 340 km (driving pretty slowly).
I think that the average for the RSV should be at about 8 liters for every 100 km.

that is my experience too with a RSV. Remarkable the difference in usage when driving only 90kmph instead of >140

Hi, ~I am lucky if i get over 135 miles to a full tank before the light starts to flash ,probably because i tend to go along at warp factor 9 all the time if i drop the speed to around 50 to 60 miles per hour i can get up to 150 to 160 depending on where you are riding on the motorway or in the town. Never got more than this YET.

For my 1300 Venture, 16 liters for 220 km. When riding on the highway, arround 200 km ( when respect of the speed limits ) . 250 km on open road, and... 150 km, in Germany last year with a speed beetween 160 and 200 per h.

with an average speed of 140 kim it takes 6,5 ltr. per 100 km. If I run the bike on high speed it takes close to 9 ltrs. With trailer at an average spee of 130 km, it takes 7.5 ltrs., if I ride in mountain areas with the trailer and the engine has to work a lot, it takes close to 10 ltrs.

Hi
After just a few weeks of riding I had begun to think of my XVZ 1300 -90 as a thirsty devil .... compared to prior bikes I have owned.
After reading this thread I must moderate my opinion ... the consumption seems to be quite normal.
Range from 6,2 l to 6,7 l per 100 km
