Wow!! That's a great idea.
I vote for it. We can make a contest at the meeting and decide wich one is the best, although we already have a winner. Spanish wine, of course!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Falko you'r right. But in wine I'm a franco-français. I always depends how you like your wine. My prefered is a bordeaux called "Chateau Cheval Blanc" It's a strong wine for men ;D But actually it costs too much for a wine. My last 3 bottles from 1976 remain in my seller (I have about 300 bottles) and I'm waiting aa special occasion to open one (this bottle is now quoted 130 euro a bottle And I also appreciate a good "chateau neuf du pape" But I'm open mind if you have tips for good German wine... Because when my neiboug invite us, I always bring the wine....He is German.....And I never drink something good from him....

Falko,
Your chateau de la riviere isn't it a Fronsac with a golden label ? If this is this one, it's really a good one.
For my little cellar visit, don't hesitate. But it will be a visit not a taste. But sure I'm ready to open something good if you come.

Fabian you are right about Fransac !!! have you ever been there very interesting to visit the cellar
there are tables and chairs made out of the stone ( that means while they created the cellar down in the rock where the chateau is build upon -the took all the stones away till there was only left the table and chairs - like to make a sculpture out of a block )
and more interesting to taste the wine
but if your name is not Rockefeller your in problems only to fill up your saddlebags with bottles ;-)))

There used to be an Italian Venture owner in the old Europe Venture mailing list, but it's been more than 3 years since I don't know anything about him.
Regards,
Nacho.

Yes please Bunnie ;D
As the meet is in France I'll not be bringing wine myself (coals to newcastle). I'm going to pick up some Benadictine from the local monks.
