I already posted at the Spanish speaking section, but I doubt much people can understand it.
The gringos won't understand it and the Spanish Speaking people can't get inside the forum, but ther I left my welcome message and my remind to everybody to call me if they need help in the Spanish language.
I hope it helps, John.
Thanks for the idea.
Regards,
Nacho.

Nacho. Nacho, there is no reason now for the Spanish speakers not to at least get onto the site to look around. Anyone can sign up for a free 14 day trial. I guess at the moment the initial problem is in them understanding the free registration process. Perhaps this is something you could help them with? We are looking at ways to translate into Spanish, German & French the Tech library as well. Not an easy job but it is a long term goal to try and achieve it for the benfit of non English speaking Venturers everywhere. It won't happen overnight for a couple of reasons, first we need volunteers that can read English to translate it and then we need the web experoienced to be able to put the translated pages onto the site. Long term though I can see it as being a great development.

Yes, Ian.
I received a personal message from Venturous yesterday asking for some help in tranlating some things from the American forum into Spanish.
He didn't say anything about the whole tech files. He said that it would be great if all the forum controls and buttons could be expressed in Spanish.
I told him that I would do the translation for those things. And I have to do the tech library, I can do it also, but as you say, in a long term period of time.
So, as soon as I receive the texts for contorls and buttons, they will be in Spanish too.
And for the free trial, all the Spanish friends know it exists. Maybe some of them will use it.
Thanks for the remind, anyway.
Hasta la Vista,
Nacho.

Guys, there are a few things that put together explain why my members don't use the European or American Forum. You need to find someone with all these skills to have him posting in the international forums:
A) Being Spanish B) Knowing a little bit of English. C) Having "a few computer skills" D) Having a job with Internet acces. E) Being a Venture fanatic.
You put all these things together and you will have a Spanish posting in the forums.
Unfortunately, for the moment there is only one crazy guy who meets all these requirements.
Wonder who?

Some years ago I wasn't very good in English, but the training with John and the websites improved my Engllsh more an more. The best learning is learning by doing.
Unfortunately we hadn't enough time to make John to speak enough german. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think for me,I'm too old to learn a language now, grey cells are deminishing ;D,Germany seems to have the most English speaking people in Europe & I beleive the Spannish language is mostly used through out the world,as you say John, thank heavens these guys can speak English,if they did'nt,how would we do sign language over the net ;D ;D Only for the net,I would'nt have one of these Venture's, the spare parts do not exist here in Ireland, years ago I used to stick with the straight forward bike, like a Honda CB750 or CB900,no confusing parts with this sort of bike. There I go again,I'm always running on to another topic ;D ;D ;D
