Last week I received an e-mail from a Venture owner in Croatia who saw us on the Internet. He knew that he was going to be on Holidays here in Spain and my city was on his route. When he saw that there were telephone contact information, he did not doubt to call me and ask for a meeting here in Valladolid. So yesterday evening, I took my bike and went to the hotel where they were staying. We had a great chat, nice time and some ride together. This only means for me that the club IS HEALTHY AND WORKING. We are getting Venture people in Europe closer and closer. The dream is becoming true. The borders are disappearing. Man, Croatia is more than 2,000 km (1,250 miles) away from Spain!!!! Here I post a few pictures of them. I'm not in any of the pictures because these were taken with my camera, but when they get back home, they will send their pictures to me and I will update this thread. Some of the pictures with their cameras will show a great view of the whole city of Valladolid from up in a close mountain (well it is actually a hill) we have. Boy, how I like this Venturehood (instead of brotherhood). I am going to see them again for lunch today at 13:00 PM. Best regards to all and thanks for making this great club possible. Best regards to all, Nacho.

Hey, Nacho!
I fully agree with You. Since I bought my Venture and was searching for people, who have the same bike I am wondering how much nice people I have met only for the reason of the bike.
It's a great community and it's getting bigger and bigger. OK, the Internet makes it easier to stay in contact but also the meetings are great and unforgettable events.
Thank you for sharing and looking forward to meet You and a lot of other people again, anywhere and anywhen.
Roland

Yes, I made sure to tell them that there were tons of usefull information about Ventures in this forum and that we already knew the solutions to some common problems, such as the backfiring of the RSV that he actually had, the noises of the rear end and the weakness of the rear shockabsorber.
He seemed to be very interested and I bet you he will at least come and say hello. They were great people and I am very happy that I had to meet them.
I do have a card from them and also ane-mail adress, so I'm pretty sure that we will saty in contact. They promissed to me to send me their pictures, so when they get back home we will see.
Zeljko, if you are reading this please contact us and feel free to join the club. And thanks a lot for visiting my country.
Best regards to all form Spain,
Nacho.

;D ;D Hi All, Yes it is working and i think that the Europe -Venturers is the only way forward to promote the venture motorcycle, pity they were riding 2nd generation , no joking apart the club is working and bringing venture riders from all over europe together, its a pity that not all venture riders agree with this as it will benifit all of us in the long run. Brilliant club all round , keep it up averyone. Yours truly Colin

OK. John. I will.
Just for your information, the place where they are standing in the last two pictures is the entrance to the village where I work. BOECILLO is the name of the village and just two miles from there, there is a special area called TECHNOLOGICAL PARK or something like that, where hundreds of companies try to develope new technologies for almost every kind of market. It is something like Silicon Valley but just smaller.
I will show you when you come to Spain.
Regards,
Nacho
