Well, I could have put some flags in my antennas Falko, but I guess that the event was about a different style of life (usually these triathletes don't drink the amounts of beers you guys do and they are very used to hard efforts, while most of us would get REAL TIRED right after the first corner). I didn't want to make any publicity and maybe the organiser wouldn't like it.
And no, Valladolid is not a small city. It has more than 500.000 people living in there and it is capital of Castilla y León, a big area made out of 9 different provinces with a total extension of about 300 km from North to South and 400 km from West to East. Actually they say is the biggest region of Europe (depending on the same local government or Autonomic Community). Somebody told me once that is bigger than Switzerland, Luxemburg and some other small European countries.
And for more Ventures involved in the event, there is only 3 in the Province of Valladolid. all of them are members of the Spanish Venture Club, of course, but they could not join (I called them).
It would have been great to have 3 Ventures together opening the race. Nobody would have seen the bicycles!!!
Things like this are the ones that make life easier.
Regards to all,
Nacho.

No way!!!! John would be the winner in one of those crawl races and then Falko would get second position!!! Boy, they drink fast!!!
Besides, if they see the strobos during the race, they might think they are in a disco or something and they could try to start dancing, which actually I think is the worst view a man can see on this earth.
But it could be funny, anyway. Maybe we can try in 2008 in Spain.
Best regards,
Nacho.
