Since I have ridden about 3000 kilometers on my new GW, I`d like to compare both bikes to each other ;D ;D ;D
1. Tech details
2. Comfort
3. Handling
4. Overall summarize
Both bikes have a bit below 100 PS. Ok, the Wolf had a bit more ;D ;D ;D
Result : Much more TopSpeed on the Venture ! GW has a top speed of about 115mph and it takes around 10 ltrs. gas on 100 Kilometers. That is pretty equal to the Venture, but the Wolf has a topspeed of around 140 mph !
The GW increase gas much better up to 100 mph, guess it has to do with a bigger engine and with the two cylinders more.
At least a ++++ for the Venture
The better comfort on long distances goes for sure to the Venture. The GW saddle is to soft and creates pain on the back side ;D. I need to upholster the saddle of the GW !
At least a ++++ for the Venture
The handling goes with maximal points to the GW. The handling is a lot better and in small curves you can easily scratch the saddlebag bumpers without any risk. The suspension is very stable, much more stable than the Venture.
At least a ++++ for the GW
Summarize : both bikes are pretty simular in age. The GW has more technical benefits, the engine with the 6 cylinders runs were smooth and the handling is fantastic.
The Venture is a tough bike. You feel the enormous power of the engine, because the engine is much rougher, in Topspeed the GW is far behind the Venture
Riding those bikes :
Both bikes have their own benefits.
You need for both bikes enthusiasm
and sorry to say that : You need to do some modifications on the Venture to reach the level of the GW.
