I would like to give a warm welcome to Taka (Takashi) from Japan.
He is a great guy and also member of The Venturers.org
Hey Taka, please feel here as if you were at home or at least as well as you feel at the American forum.
I'm really glad to see you around here.
Best regards from Spain,
Nacho.

Hi there! Thank you for your welcome and warm words. As Nacho said, my name is Takashi, a Japanese. I'm a member of the Venturers org. of the USA, so I already knew Nacho and Falko, also Frank, Roland, Alian, and Ian in there. Of course I know Johnjr who is a only member I ever met in the Venturers. He came Japan last year. ;D I own a 2000 RSV (red) and a 2002 FJR (blue), and a member of Royal Star owners club of Japan. Most members have Royal Stars and some have RSVs. Not only RSVs but also Royal Stars are not sold now here in Japan... same situation as Europe. Drag Stars and Road Stars sell continued. Anyway, I will enjoy in this site. Thanks again. Greetings from Japan.

Winghunter, Thank you for your welcome, I'll enjoy on this site. Unfortunately I haven't been to Europe ...but, someday I'll visit there. Doc, Nice to hear that your daugther is a very good artist and learns Japanese from Manga. Well, I will post some pictures in Japanese scenery and bikers later. Here is my photo...this trike is not mine, it's my friends' one.

Doc, I aggree with you. In the last 12 years I`ve been in 41 states on various bikes and I covered about 200 000 Miles. That`s not a joke. In 1996 I realised a dream. I quitted my job and went to the USA. During that time I had a 91 GL 1500 SE with a Champion trailer and I did a lot of miles on her. I did it like the American snowbirds ;D ;D ;D ;D and felt like an Outlaw. Riders those met along the routes, they asked me if I am on the run ;D ;D ;D ;D. Don`t ask me, how I did regarding a Visa - therefor I will give you the answer personally. So ride on a bike in US isn`t any longer a dream for me, but I am still fascinated of various places and I will do more trips in the US - thats for sure. But I am very open for other ideas . Asia must be great country to do a ride and meet the people there, build up new relationships, get a different thinking and so on. At least, for me it is important, that I can do all those trips with my own bike !!! One of the next trips I will do, is, to go from the South of Brasil to the North along the costline. I plan to do that in 2007 ! 2006 I will do another trip within the States. Will start in Seattle and go South on the HW 101 and furthermore on the HW 1 .

Doc, We must wear the helmet riding on the motorcycles and sidecars, but we are allowed NO helmet on the trikes. It is funny, but the traffic law allows that. Spring is coming soon, as you said we are waiting for the cherry blossomes in April. There are not yet today, but I think it comes soon. I don't know the correct reason why our traffic runs on the left@side. I've heard this..., in the past (more than 150 years ago), Japanese samurai has the sword by his left side, so they walked the left on the road because of their sword not to strike each other...therefore, the traffic (men, horses, carriages) runs the left side...and the 2nd reason, we Japanese imported many of the western cultures and laws about 120 years ago. The traffic rule was applied to England, so our railways and cars are running on the left side. I'm not sure ;D ;D Here is a picture of the cherry blossoms with my FJR, this pic was taken in last April.
