ok Venturer you are welcome.... first tell us which Year and Model your bike is... which color, etc... you can ask Nacho if its a silver RSV look at his profile - or ask him... he knows a lot about that model cause he needed to change some Parts best if you could post a picture and let us know what you search.. chrome safety sound ( music / bubs )

Thanks, Falko. He is right, I do know some things about the 99 model and newer. The most common accessories to add to our Ventures are passing lamps, driver's back-rest, CD-charger or MP3 player and then all kind of chrome goodies. I have added some other stuff like a CB radio working very well, a luggage rack for the trunk, a shorter and wider wind shield, police flashing lights and some different lights that make myself more visible on the road, such as a brighter braking light and some position lights that put inside my four turn signals. I'll show you some pics about all my goodies in the next days. Now, here I post some pics of the lighting. I hope you like. Best regards and thanks for visiting us. Nacho.

Falko, you are right. The head and rear light modulator is against the German and European laws ! But I have both in my Venture as well ;D - for the TÜV I just tape the sensor ;D - simple work ! And that`s for sure, with a headlight modulator you are much more visible on the roads !

I also have the brake light modulator installed and I make it not functional when I have to go to the TÜV. Never had a problem with the police until yet. But headlight modulator is more visible and will take attention to the police. But I have running two additional headlights fully equipped with parking light, low beam and high beam and I can switch to what I prefer (with the stock headlight). That is a better lighting as in my car and very good in the night on back roads.
Under the saddlebags I have a aluminium profile installed with 7 10mm yellow LED's on each side. Every LED is quite as bright as a 5 watt bulb but take very less load. These LED's are available at Conrad Ellectronics in Germany also in red and orange. Not cheap but very good and the last forever.

Electrics are very easy on vehicles, Falko.
Just put the positive and the negative ends on your tongue and you'll know immediately if you have any current in that cable.
Let me know what happens when you do it, please!
I hope I was of help.
Best regards,
Nacho.

Falko: No problem with the LED's. You can use them like normal bulbs when You have the right resistor in the positve line. All the other stuff is using the right tools. ;D

Be sure that You are within the laws or You can switch them to a law conform mode. It depends a little on the law and the police what they are observing. Sometimes it's against the law but the police doesn't worry about. In Germany this safetylights can make som trouble with the police. Not the flashers with the running light in front but with the mode of the backside of the bike. For this I have two additional backlights and one lightbar with running and braking lights and the brake light modulator connected to the additional brake lights. If needed the brake light modulator is quickly disconnected.
