Keep an eye at the rear brake pads, especially the inner side. It will not last as long as the outer side and needs earlier replacement to both pads. The outer pad will be good when the inner is worn.

I've switched to the Carbone-Lorraine pads that Rick sells. They're cheaper than the EBC pads and don't squeak. Comparable braking to the factory pads. I've upgraded the brake and clutch lines to the braided stainless ones and they make a huge difference in braking.

Hi Roland,
if you have different worn Brakepads, the Pistons do not run equal. The One one the Side which is more worn out might is stucking a little bit. You should take the Caliper out and give it a Service.
Yamaha sells an Repair-Kit for the Calipers.
