The american stock mufflers have a much better sound than the european stock mufflers. If you can get some mufflers used from american members for a good price it's not bad to buy them. No additional work, just changing. No problems at the TÜV in Germany because it's the difference is nearly not visible.

Roland: I have changed my stock mufflers to the Harley Davidson Road King mufflers, so I have my stock Yamaha muf's above my garage. I do not know anything about European muffler law, but I would send them to anyone for the cost of the shipping. I really don't know if they are any different than the European models, so I don't want to sell them and tick anybody off. ;D

@ Yamamoose: This would be very fine! I would like to say we will wait a week if someone of the members in this forum want to have them. If not I will take them for a friend of mine, also a RSV-Rider but not a member yet. He didn't have a computer so he is always a little bit "standing behind me". Thanks in advance. The european version of the mufflers have a lot more baffles in it and also not a cone at the end. They are flat with a tube in it. And very calm. RK mufflers here in Germany will cause the interest of the police immediatly and no chance to get a inspection sticker from our TÜV. I will send You an e-mail if nobody here is interested. Thanks again and best regards. Roland

Roland: I did and returned one to you. I am going to check Monday to see if UPS or the Post Office is cheaper for International shipping. Glad I can help! You might even find a hat and other things with the muff's!!
