Hello, does anyone here made any experiences with braided stainless steel lines for clutch and brake lines for the Royal Star Venture? As I saw during scanning the web, there are no kits available from the two bigger manufacturers (Lucas, Spiegler). I know, that I can buy an custom made kit, but for this I would have to know the length and the kind of fittings etc, I would have to unmount the lines. So I thought of buying a kit from here: www.buckeyeperformance.com/but I don't know if this kit is allowed in Germany. Any Ideas? Greetings from Potsdam/Germany

Hello Hannes....I hope that is your name....being an American living over here I sometimes get my tongue tied up with German names.......haa.....no problem though....yes, we can recommed a set of lines for you....Roland from Mannheim will come to this thread later today or tomorrow and he can give you the information you need..He and I both put the same lines on from a manufacture he knows in Deutschland.....so please wait a little bit and he can help you........and by the way, you can also use Buckeye's lines, they are legal and will pass TUX???TUF??? with no problem ..if that is what you are refering too.... Welcome to our forum and please look around..we have many Deutsch riders and several near you who are on the site...we also have a Get together/ride/Meeting coming up in April/May in Isny you should consider coming too...you can see the info about it here on the site!!!!! And again....welcome from Switzerland!!!!!

If my memory saves me right I ordered me the steel lines for the Royal Star 1300 A. they are quite the same and come with the ABE. Only the clutch line has to be a little longer (79 cm) but this line don't need the ABE. I will have a look for the bill and tell You the right explanations to order them.
BTW You can order the lines everywhere You want in Germany, if You know what You need (fittings, lenght etc). They come with a pressure protocol which makes them able to get written in the papers from the TÜV. They only have a look on the correct install. So You don't need a ABE carrying with You.
Had mine installed and forgot the ABE when I had my technical inspection at the TÜv. They only asked me if I have a ABE. I said "Yes" and I passed the examination.

Hello Roland, Noel, John,
thank you for your warm welcome. Roland, it would be nice, if you could email me the right explanations. BTW, I think we had Email-Kontact some years ago, so welcome again. John, we met each other four years ago during the International meeting of the Venture Club Deutschland. I was one of the three riders with a RSV during the weekend in Gunderath (Gran Dorado Ferienpark). Hope we can ride together again sometimes.
Greetings from Germany
Steffen Hanne
