I think many of you in Europe are in cold winter. Also here in Japan, we are in cold winter. But in my region, we have no snow and fine weather. I went out for an about 220kms ride few days ago and took some pictures. Hope you will enjoy them. I took a ferry to Awaji island near my hometown Kobe. This is the Akashi Bridge that is a longest suspention bridge in the world, the length is 3911m and height is 297m. This photo was from the ferry. The weather was very fine and no wind...the temp was 8c...a bit cold to ride. This is a beautiful sea side road. This is the Awaji castle, a tipical Japanese castle. The evening sun lighted it a bit red. The Akashi Bridge is illuminated in night. The pic was taken from the return ferry.

Wonderful pics, as always, Taka.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Your weather seems to be more or less like the one I have here in Spain. It is very cold, ususally under 0º C but sunny and dry. No snow, no rain. So just a good jacket and open roads to ride.
Best regards form sunny Spain.
Nacho.

I love your pics, Taka! Did You rode over the bridge with the bike? We did a ride over the Oeresund bridge from Denmark to Sweden for the international meeting in 2003 and it was a impressive ride, especially with the wind.
Greetings from Germany Ruth and Roland

Thanks guys!
Roland, I have heard from Frank about the bridge between Denmark and Sweden. It seems wonderful that the bridge crosses over international countries (overseas).
Yes I did some times, but it's very expensive to ride on the bridge!

thx a lot Taka
but thx a lot to anyone else around the world who provide us with pictures from place he has been to and not less important of his hometown and scenery around his place
you surely can get a clue of a country from watching television but for me it is so much more worth to see your private pictures !!! from real live...
pls keep on taking pictures from your rides and sharing them with us.. Falko
