We were having a great time in the South of France,we were ready to ride to Paris when we heard that there is bad weather moving accross France from the West.We thought, sod that,so we booked a train from Narbonne to Paris. We arrived at the Auto Train & they told us that everything on the bike had to come off,we certainly did not carry our luggage,we gave it all away...Tents,sleeping bags, fishing rods, parasols, stoves, pans & alot moe, except our clothes, the people working at the station were well pleased at getting our gear, they returned with bottles of wine for us & thanked us,we carried the wine ok.. ;D We put the bikes on the train. We then got a shuttle bus to take us to the passenger train,we entered the train looking for our sleeping compartment,we found it,there were no lights on at all,we were flicking zippo's to see what we were doing,I went in & feeling around with my hand & nuts,I felt somebody's face,I nearly jumped out of my skin & my mates jumped as well when they heard me shout.. ;D ;D I thought sod this for a game of cowboys, anyway we are still feeling around & found the empty beds, the room was only 7 foot X 8 foot & 6 sleeping in there, you can imagine all the smells & noises during the night.Morning came & there was a black man,a china man & an old french woman,I thought what a combination.. ;D We arrived in Paris & the bikes were waiting fo us. More stories to follow later.

Your antenna looks almost snapping off on the train! Was it OK?

Hiya Taka,I unscrewed the top nut & it showed a pivot type connection,I was able to push it down,it would'nt go all the way because it has'nt been used before,I'll strip it sometime & give it a good oiling. The antenna seems to be ok.
