I took a nine-day ride in Hokkaido which is north part island. It has very hard weather in Winter, but we can enjoy Summer in comfortable cndition. It has a vast extent of glassland, the roads are wide and straight, few cars...., well it can be said a "rider's paradise" here in Japan.
I will put some pics, hope you will enjoy them
My ride started from Otaru, where is a port town. I arrived here on the ferry.
The Hyakuninhama road, near Cape Erimo.
The Ohgon (Gold) road, it took a large amount of cost to build this road, so it named "Gold".
Near Biboro pass, covered by green trees.
The Notsuke Peninsula that is a sandbar.
Mt. Rausu, registered on the world nature heritage (Shiretoko).
Kaiyoudai view point, 360 degrees panorama view.
The Kita 19th line, goes straight to the end.
Sokodai view point, two lakes are down there, it looks like the shape of Hokkaido.
The Ororon line, 28 power windmills line along the road.
The Sarobetsu moor, the Ororon line goes along here.
Going to the northernmost point.
Cape Soya, the northermost pont in Japan.
The Soya hill.
The Esanuka line, also goes straight into the Esanuka moor. It looks like drawing a line with a ruler.
F-104 with my RSV.
Lake Shikotsu
Mt. Yotei, looks like Mt. Fuji. It called Ezo-Fuji.
The Niseko Panorama line
The Shakotan Peninsula, that has such precipitous scenery.
The view from Kamui Point, in the Shakotan Peninsula.
Met a Road Star rider in the parking lot at Kamui Point.
