On this board registered forum members are allowed to initiate a poll. It is also possible to start a thread with no poll. There are some simple rules however. - The normal rules of this forum apply concerning respect and decency.
- It is mandatory to describe the background of your poll, what your opinion is and why someone may choose for other options.
- be clear and short of text
- state a closing date for your poll.
when there is none, staff is allowed to close the poll after one month.
- make sure every alternative can be choosen.
If you are not sure of this, enter a last option with the text "Otherwise, and I entered a posting"
These tips might be of use to you - state a clear and short question
- limit the possible answers
more than 5 is questionable
- once a poll-thread is entered it is NOT possible to make changes to the question nor to the possible choises!
Therefor enter this coding in your poll-posting first
[glow=red,2,300]Still editing! do NOT poll or reply please![/glow] wich will look like this [glow=red,2,300]Still editing! do NOT poll or reply please![/glow] When you do not like the result you are then able to delete the posting(and the poll) and you can create it again. When satified with the result modify the posting and delete this coding.
