Hi friends,
Black Scorpion and myself are looking for members who will join our trip to the meeting and furthermore a two weeks vacation.
As said before in a different posting, we will start the weekend before. Route is open ! For sure we will stop over at Doc`s home and follow his invitation ! After the meeting we finally will go to Sardegna. We will take a ferry in Tolouse and ship over to Sardegna. I`ve been there 4 years ago. It is a fantastic place for motorcycle tours. Not too many tourists at the beaches and if you go away from the beaches you will find pure nature with lots of windy roads. Just great. Roads are in a perfect condition, since this island was or is - I am not sure - a Nato base.
Would be great if some of you are interested . Just let me know.
I already started to work on a trip planning. Ferry transfer shall be booked latest in May..

Folko, don`t be confused. As agreed we will meet each other at the Lago Maggiore instead of Brig. It is just around the corner . the reason why I changed the route a little bit is the point that I prefer to go through Italy instead of crossing Switzerland. the "Simpleon Pass" we will ride together when we will leave the Lago Maggiore. I will let you know the name of the campground later. Have to look for it first.

Camping Isolino, Via Per Feriolo,25, Fondoce di Verbania
That campround is the closest to your route. You will hit the campground in the Northwest of the Lago Maggiore.

Falko, as requested by your side, here is the direction for the campground at the Lago MAggiore - guess Bunnie, this is important for you to know, since you said, you might catch us at the Laogo MAggiore. SS 34 - Verbenia - Gravellona, then you will hit a circle, in that circle take the direction to Stresa, after take the direction "Lago" or lake. The campground is located 2 kilometers out of the village, in front of the lakeshore. The internetsite of the campground is : www.isolino.it

pls check what you post first !
still a lot of mispelling
it is fondotoce not fondoce - thats why i wasnt able to locate and its verbania not verbenia .... pls also check the prices ! you have only looked for the cheapest - but you must have a look at the time of year ! + that you have to pay extra for near lake camping + extra for the bike ! alltogether not much cheaper than a small hotel... but anyway... nice place to stay...

It is always a petty, if you speak various languages, thinking in latin (Italian)language, writing in English and everything in accordance to the native language Ok, I will do better in the future. ;D ;D ;D- promised. Problem at all lakes in the North of Italy - they are hell of expensieve ! But we can save money, if we take just one place and saddle down the tents. If you will check the prices, you will see that opportunity. Means, we will take one place and saddle down two or three tents. That saves money. Here is an alternative campground, a little bit cheaper : www.campingrose.it/de/topfrm.htmJust let me know, what we shall do. If you will find a better choice, fine for us. Will be in the office today. So you can catch me by phone.
