next back over the Alps again
up and down...
and again

then on Wednesday we go direction to Doc

we hope most of us are able to join on wednesday --> thursday at Doc`s chateau - so we can ride as a group to the meeting on friday morning !

btw we do camping on the way ( if its not to hard raining - but you know when angels are travelling the sun will shine and i allready placed an ordr for good weather on the way...)

so could everyone please list his planned way...
so we all may be able to join together...or at leat some of us ?

ok today we booked our first overnight

start in Butzbach ( Frankfurt / Taunus ) at 0800 in the morning
we take only sideways and backroads
over Tittisee-Neustadt in the blackforest

to CH- 6053 Alpnachstad ( near Luzern) (about 600 km)
there we will stay in a very small farm in the mountains
we will have only a pallet there - and have to take our sleepingbags

hope that will be very romantic !

on sunday we will take our time through the alpes
over Brigg - the simplon-pass to the Lago Maggiore in italy
( where we may meet Rudy and the bunch ... )

The Spanish gorup will sleep in Barcelona Wednesday 13. From there, we will drive all together to Annecy, where we will stay for the whole meeting.

After the meeting, half of the group will drive back to home and the other half will stay around visiting The Alps (mainly France and Italy).

Ruth and me will ride on Thursday down to Doc, staying overnight and ride with the group to the meeting place. We will stay there in a tent for the meeting and on Sunday we return to Germany.

The way we ride will be down on the A 5 and through France over to Doc. May be the same way back.

I leave on sundaymorning, 3rd July direction Netherland.Turn around there till 8th July. We go to the Bikers Farm, Dülmen
for a meeting. From there through NL, B, LUX we go
to St. Die/F visiting a friend. We stay there for 3 nights and
leaving this place on thurstday morning. Hope, we can find
Doc's house till 18:00h or some later. We have tents and
so we need no sleepingplaces. On Friday we go together with the group to the campingarea of the int.Meeting.

Bad and good waether news :

Since we have to go on Friday via the Brennero route, we will catch ba and cold weather. Forecast is 5 egrees !

But the place we well meet Falko and perhaps bunnie, means the Lago Maggiore forcasted for Sunday 30 degrees and sunny and for Monday 31 degrees and sunny.

So we just has to leave the Northern area of Europe, have to cross the Alps and we will catch the weather where we are looking for !!

Oh my God - heavy rain all the way from Berlin to Munich ! - Passes may be closed for Motorcycles - cause snow on the mountains down till 1500m !

maybe better stay on the interstate instead of the High and byways - and forget about backroads...

Coming off the motorway and turn left then it's straight on till the second chateau.

Coming from Poligny, take second right after the duel carriage way. Cross roads straight on. next cross roads turn right chateau is on your right.

Use the entrance with the post boxes, not the long drive.

We have a few spare rooms, plenty of camping space if its nice. If its pissing it down then we do have all the extra space we could need, and some bunk beds.
