Noel : All three of us ! ;D ;D ;D But we prefer your Irish whiskey. By the way, do you know the brand "Middleton" ? Yesterday I tried that one. We`ve been out with a few clients and after dinner I had that one. I never tasted such a whiskey before. Hell of expensieve - but the taste !!!! Great , great , great ! I am told, that it costs here in Germany about 200,- € a bottle Any idea what that cost in Ireland ?

thxxx caladois
very nice offer
and good to get more information about the whole thing
it is always good to have all information before starting to judge or at least misinterpret a situation or price
i know that every club likes to hide informations about the int. meetings just to give everyone a big surprise and i know that there has been never questions about the price after the meetings but as i mentioned - give all infos you can give so members who first time think about going to the meeting can better decide....
for me it has never been a question about :
is it worth ...?
its always:
do i have the money - or can raise it till the meeting

Here I am, Doc. Sorry for the delay, but I don't have Internte access during the weekends (Don't want to have it either).
The Spanish contingent does not have talked about plans yet, but I can tell you that we will travel all together from Barcelona. We will sleep close to the French border and than will drive to the place.
I think it is a good idea to meet close to the meeting place and get in there as E-V club all together.
Please let me know what are the ideas and plans and I will post them at the Spanish forum.
This is getting better and nicer everyday!!!!
Best regards,
Nacho.

Well guys,a BIG dissapointment for me,one of our riders in the group who works in the local Hospital, has been told that he cannot have the dates he booked for the holiday,he was gutted when telling the rest of us & told us to carry on without him.We just could'nt do that & leave him behind,so we have re-booked & leaving Rosslare on the 21st July, arriving in Roscoff 22nd July,we will ride towards Bordeaux & around to Nice, maybe we will pop over the Spannish or Italian border, maybe we might meet up with a few members along the way. I was so looking forward to having an ole drink & crack with you guys.Maybe next time or another meet.

I did suggest that & as they pointed out that it would be at least a week before we met up again. This trip for us was on the cards before Xmas & they were doing me a favour by going to the meet, these guys are not VR owners, although, they were looking forward to the meet ,but turning up in a group. It would'nt be fair for me to split the team up,as they were looking forward to the crack on the ferry & riding through the West of France into the South & into Malaga. If I went off on my own,I would feel like a mutineer,it's very difficult. We were in France last year & making plans for this years trip & places we wanted to go & they changed the plan to accomadate the meet, now we have changed the booking,it's back to plan "A". I'll have to think on this one, nothing worse than upsetting plans. It's all down to that b+++++y hospital.

Doc,that sure is a most welcomed invitation, thanks very much,as you know,I have booked my trip & given the dates to the company whom I drive a truck for, there are only two of us that drive, the other driver Tony is booking his holiday(his wife is) this week & we have to cover each other on the long run,the boss will cover our holidays by doing the short distances only, as his health is not great,if the dates are free, then I just might make it.I know Bunnie suggested coming over early, but things do change as it gets closer to July.

Thanks, Alex, for your information.
The Spanish people will send all the forms to me and I will send all of them to you one week before june 1st.
I guess that this year we are gonna be between 15 and 25 bikes.
But what worries me a lot is the hotel problems. I bet that only a few of the Spanish people will stay on camping, but most of them will want to choose hotel.
So, if the time limit is June 1st we can't make any hotel reservation untill we know for sure how many we are gonna be. Does this means that we are gonna have problems to make reservations if we don't make them now? Will it be hard to find hotel for those days one month before the meeting?
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Nacho.

Hi everybody, For the hotel, decide quickly, you will be in the first big summer hollyday week in France and with the big week end from the 14th july (national day) it will become more and more difficult to find one.

Good to see, that more and more people from our board will join the meeting . Guess it is close to the time to make plans how to go there. Will everyone go seperately ? I don`t think so. I think the Germans, like Roland, Falko, Black Scorpion and myself can plan to go together . Had that discussed with Falko earlier. What`s about you - Roland ? How are your plans. Bunnie, what`s up to you. Guess you will be with us. What`s about Northern Europe. As Alexandre said, he has received 3 registrations from Fiinland ? Havn`t seen any of those guys on board of our community. But we have Swedish and the guy from Estonia. Will you guys join us, heading for France ? Shall be open up another thread to create groups, those will ride together ?

My plan was to ride on thursday over to Doc, staying over night and ride with the group to the meeting place. May be Johnjr will ride with me but he wants to stay at Alain over the night Thursday/Friday and arrive at Friday at the meeting place with Alain. But all isn't sure for the moment. Because I'm a little bit handicapped of my illness I prefer to ride over the highways. Mostly A5 until the border then A 36 and A 39 over to Doc. For me 456 km. Should be enough for me for the first day.
