Guess we still need some input in face out a location for the second meeting.
There are some good ideas on the table - like UK, like coast of France, like South of Netherlands, like Andorra and like doc`s offer to have a meeting in his home area.
We just need a poll where we are able to have a look on all places those are on board and then we will have a decision and we need a person who stands for the area that will be on the poll. That person will have the major responsibility for the meeting.
And there is another important issue : We need to seperate all VCE meetings in a seperate board. Otherwise we will have to much confusion ! Bunnie - will you be so kind and do so.

Well I've already said we can have an autumn VCE meet here if theres no offer of anything further south. Still pretty good camping weather in October, we have 9-11 spare rooms + the family penthouse, and dorms and even hotels 15 mins away, so that can be penciled in.
However I don't see that we need more the 3 or 4 months leway for making the final decision on where, so there's plenty of time for someone to come up with something in the prefered location of southern europe in time for the autumn VCE. Idealy we need to have a date for the autumn VCE to be able to advertise it at the International, so as long as we have something sorted by July it should be OK.

To find a place for an early Autumn meeting is the best we putt a "Poll" into the forum, just to decide where we will keep the meeting. Otherwise we will have endless discussions to find a place.
what do you guys think ?

I'd say put it to the poll, but give it a bit more time to decide on the possible options since there isn't a real rush on this issue. Lets put up a poll closer to the date.
I'd say we need a decision by june (six months in advance of the meet), so it's something we can discuss in more detail at the May meeting.

Yes...there is no rush...we all know we need to pick a geographic area so all can benefit....so as the next few months go by ...we can discuss...who knows, wemay have a little Meet & Greet somewhere and can talk about it then...maybe even more than one Meet & Greet!!!!!!

;D ;D ;D Yes it is i , lets start planning these meetings and get some deffinite dates and destinations. My preferance would be at Doc's place or even Laubach again . I know its a long way for the Spanish contingent to go but even Noel and us have just as far to go. Noel will have two lots of Ferries at extorted rates . So i think that Central France would suite all . We are not going to please everyone all the time but if it helps we can please some of us if not all. I dont know if any of you have visited Doc's place but it is situated in a very nice part of France and he certainly has the room to have us camping there. There are also a couple of little Hotels not far away if one does not like to camp . So lets get down and get something sorted out as 2006 is getting very close now. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Besides i can top up on the Honey again as there is a place not far away that sell wonderfull honey bunnie: got rid of white space

Gordon,We'll take the Beers & screw the honey ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D We could always be the first ones to organise a meet on a ferry & keep going back & forth till we are finished For some of us,depends on where the meet is,can be a long trip just to be at a meet for 2 days,if a chain of meets could be put together, maybe 2 or 3 over a one week period, then I think that every member would have the chance of meeting one another, this all depends on circumstances like Work,Families & Money.Just an idea.......

Thanks John! So Bunny's statement "I have my belly full of France" was actually very true Personally I love all the livers, kidneys, intestinals and and all the other stuff in France that they hide in sausages in a lot of other countries. Ride carefully, Peer.
