Can anyone give this guy a little help...he asked on the Venturers site, maybe one of you guys can help him out!!.......................................

help: our 1988 venture royale ex US having trouble with cruise control.main unit has power,however can\'t control cruise control from handle bars. any suggestions :confused: still waiting on manual from US.

The first thing to verify is the cut-off systems ( one on the brake level, one the brake pedal and the last on the clutch level ). Second step: verify the turn system on the throttle box ( vaccum and cable, in the left side of the frame ). Third step: electrical wairing ( Our national Doc had made a link for the wairing, see it on this board ) If all that is OK, this is probably the computerised control box out. Proceed step by step, and I think you can find the trouble. Later....

I do use it all the time, Colin. Love to wave the bikers that I overtake with my right hand let them know my bike is faster than theirs and still don't need to use the throttle.

I never had cruise control on all my former bikes and I was a bit sceptic about it but I really love it!
