Can anyone please tell me what the width of the rim is on our first gen bikes? I want to see if I can't fit a 130 section Maxxis front tyre on mine.
I'm just wondering as an aside why I couldn't ask this as a new thread in the "Technical Issues :: First Generations XVZ 12 + XVZ 13 :: Information about the first Gens" folder?

Thanks rudy. Where is that document from? Certainly not the service manual.

I haven't tried one on yet john. I didn't want to splash the cash on a tyre that didn't fit as I'm going to have to order it and if it didn't go on I'd have to try and return it.
Has anyone put a 130 on their front wheel? I suspect Rudy might have as Maxxis only list a 130 touring tyre on their web site.

Doc, I think it's impossible due to the fender screws .
