Hi to everyone, I do need a new rear brake disc. Can someone let me know, where I do get that part for a reasonable price. Yamaha price : 269,- Euro There is a possibility to get an outside ring for 133,- Euro from a part dealer, but it has a delivery time from 8-10 weeks. Hope there is another choice.

What sort of venture you have ? As I can remember louis.de had some on stock but for the 1200 (47G)) and for 1300 (3JS). Should be available for 105.95 euro in Lucas quality. Have a look on this web site.

Hi guys, Lucas is offering the front discs at Louis. The rear dis is much mire bigger than the front discs. there is a description at Louis that the front disc is the same than the rear disc - but that is wrong ! As I said, Lucas is the producer for Louis and of course, they are much cheaper than Yamaha. I have seen the "Lucas" catalogue, they are offering the front discs, but not the rear disc. So, any further help is appreciate ! best regards Rudy

Is anyone interested to get the rear brake disc as well ? Just the outside as an replacemeent. Price is at the moment 130,- Euro. I am sure, if there will be a bigger order, there will be a price reduce ! I will get this item from my neighbour www.mg-tec-online.deSo, just let me know Nacho, I will send you a pic right away. Pls. post it in this thread. There you can see how bad the most rear brake discs are. Here it is:regards

Nacho, means - your rear disc is the same as it is on the first generation. Let`s wait a few more days - may be, there are more people interested in it. The price I would say is great, may be we can cut that price down to 110- or 120,- . let`s see.

I don't know if the discs are the same. I thing we have a misunderstanding here.
When I said "Sure, I will" I simply meant that sure I was going to put your picture in here, not that I was interested in one of those discs.
I don't think our discs are compatible and even if they were, I don't really need one of them now. My front ones are a little bit old, but not that much right now.
Sorry, Rudy.
Sorry that I took so much time to answer. I had to re-read again the whole thread to understand what was going on.
Best regards to all,
Nacho.

When you write "the same as the first generation" do you mean the venture generation 1200 and 1300? or the 1300 generation venture and star? The 1200 has a rear brake disc diam. 298mm X 8.5mm and the 1300 has a 320mm x 5mm "disque flotant" (I don't know how to say that in englich or german...) For the star, I don't know.
