Yesterday night we received another heavy snowfall with 15 cm increase of snow Spring is still far away here is a new forecast : Wednesday 22.03.2006 Wetterzustand: Niederschlag?: Rain 90 % Min / Max: 1 / 4 °C By the second week of April we need to make a decision if we need to change the meeting location due to road and weather situation. I already have been in contact with Pief. A good alternative will be the Vogesen area. Spring time there is much earlier ! Any other suggestions by your side - just in case ? but lets see, it is to early to make a final statement.

It could be so that the camping is free of snow but still soaking wet and not ready for camping. Winghunter asked me to tell you that in that case the campers are all welcome to spent the night at his place. Kind of a pyama party

Just came back from my first business trip for this week. Need to leave again tomorrow morning. Bunnie is right.
If the campground is still wet and slippery until the meeting starts, the campers are welcome to spend the overnights in our home. Do not expect a castle like Doc`s home. We have limited space - but at least you guys are able to sleep on the floor with the sleeping bags and camprests.

Just cam back tonight from my business trip. Was a quiet stressfull trip for this time. Have been in France the whole week - first in Brionne - Normandie and later in Saint Martin - Loire. By the way the Loire Valley might be a fantstic place for another meeting - very great scenery and the food - hhhmmmmm - great. Guess, I gained my weight for another three Kilo within this week ;D ;D ;D Forecast for the meeting looks like a 50:50 chance for sun. So lets wait and see - temperature will be ok. Freitag 28.04 19°C 5°C - 60% chance of rain Samstag 29.04 17°C 6°C 50% Sonntag 30.04 18°C 4°C 50% Montag 01.05 19°C 5°C 40%

You guys aren't going to believe this, but in this morning's Fort Collins, Colorado, United States of America, paper, the Coloradoan, the forecast for southwestern Germany was "above average temperatures!! I could not believe it was in there!!!! It was just a short blurb with a picture in the "International News" section. It is a good omen!!! ;D
