Hi guys,
anyone interested in a weekend ride. Weather forecast sounds great - temperatures up to 24 degrees !
We are thinking to do a ride in the Alps - far away from us - but for a weekend, it will be fine. We will start on Friday afternoon, heading for greater Munich area or we will go to Poland. Not fixed yet.
Anyone else who will join us ?
Romek, how far away do you live from Berlin ? May be, you will join us ? We do live about 70 kilometers away from the Polish boarder.

hi Winghunter I'm afraid not. I have friday off, but not sure about brakes. From Berlin to Warsaw is 600 km's more less. If you decide to go to Poland let me know please, will try to catch you somewhere. Or if you don't see my "boring" city, you have to visit me for a cup of coffe !!! Finaly didn't check exactly this bike to take so long ride... Thanks - Romek

Not sure what's going on this weekend, Rudi! I will phone You soon to talk about. But on 31st of Oct. I definitly bring my bike in to build a trailer hitch and a trailer. Will get it back in the beginning of Dec. For this I have a little preparation at the bike and some other things with my mother. So I can't say anything right now.
I really need more free time, to do all things I love!!!!!!!

wow wow !!! Here in Warsaw we hadn't so warm weather... in the morning minus 3, and max +7c during day. But did not give up, and rode around. It was first ride on my new Venture. Not too many km's. But finaly everything works, rebuilt rear master cylinder and it works too!!! Doughter told me that much more place for passenger there. Rudi, I was several times i that fabulous region, in Oberamergau too. Guys, I'm glad you had nice weekend. Take care - Romek

I rode 500 miles on Saturday, half on a Kawasaki zx6r and half on my Venture. The Venture was having it's 70,000 mile (114,000KM) service and it had been waiting for two new front disc's as the old ones had warped. So the garage gave me the Kawasaki as a loan bike.
Nice and sunny most of the day. Nice to be back on the Venture though after a week with the sports bike!

Great pics Rudy,Roland & Romek, that place with the Schnapps,I could become a priest, probably a drunk one. ;D ;D You all had good weather, did you tent it or hotel it.That hotel called atte bolt, looks very nice,I can imagine me sitting outside getting slowly pissed.Did the Scorp clean his flat or did Petra do it for him ;D ;D
Shooter, after riding that sports bike, you must have sore joints compared to the comfort of your other bikes. ;D

Noel, it was just a daily ride within the alps. In the evening Petra, me, David and Pasqual returned back to Pasqual`s flat in Landshut. total we covered about 400 kilometers. Ruth and roland went back to their home about 250 kilometers more. Petra and me made it back home yesterday. So we didn`t need any other overnight in a hotel or in a tent. Nights are already lausy cold in Bavaria ! Flat was cleaned nicely by Pasqual - not by Petra
